Cat Battles crates are opened in the lobby with coins, and each one drops exactly one of three cosmetic things: a fur, a piece of sumo gear or an emote. The value of a crate is entirely in how rare the item inside turns out to be, because nothing it can give you changes how you fight.

What Cat Battles Crates Can Drop
- A fur. A coat skin for your cat, purely cosmetic. The full fur roster lists all 11 named ones.
- Sumo gear. Accessory pieces worn alongside your fur.
- An emote. A taunt you can trigger on other players.
How You Earn the Coins
Coins are the game's single currency, and you get them after every bout in every mode, with more for a win and for each knockout you score. The same coins buy crates and the coin-priced abilities, so every bout feeds both tracks at once.
Because crate contents are random, opening crates is the intended way to chase the rarer furs like Galaxy and Glitch. Treat every opening as a fresh roll rather than a purchase with a target result.
The Robux Route
Robux bundles in the shop sell premium furs, sumo gear, emotes, trails and finishers, along with Shark Attack and Wind Shurikens — the two Mythic abilities that cannot be bought with coins at all. Buying a specific named look with Robux is faster than opening crates for it, and considerably more expensive. Crates are the slow, cheap way to fill out a collection; the Robux eggs and bundles are the fast, expensive way to get one specific item.
The Furs Waiting in Crates
Ten of the 11 named furs can come from the normal crate pool. The furs list marks which one cannot, and how to get it instead.
Getting Coins Without Grinding
Promo codes pay coins for free before you play a single bout, which makes them the cheapest way to build up to the pricier purchases. How to redeem the codes is a four-step job in the Settings menu.
