The Cat Battles Halloween event pass runs from 17 October to 1 November 2026, and Candy from event quests buys its 15 reward tiers in order — you cannot skip a tier. The whole ladder costs 880 Candy and pays 7,000 coins, three Alien Egg rewards and four event-only items. Dates and ladder were read on 23 October 2026, so trust the in-game countdown.

How Candy Is Earned
Candy comes only from Halloween event quests. The daily quests come first and cover the basic actions: playing matches, knocking out players and using emotes, so performing an emote counts as tracked quest progress rather than just a taunt. Clear the daily set and the hard quests unlock — they repeat the same actions at a higher frequency and pay more Candy, which is what funds the larger Candy costs later in the ladder.
Tiers Have to Be Bought in Order
The pass is sequential. Every tier must be bought before the next one unlocks, so you cannot sit on tier 3 and buy the tier 15 Ray Gun. Two other details are worth knowing before you spend: the guides say more rewards are being added about five days in, based on the in-game timer, and some rewards carry their own expiry timers, so a tier you hold on to can expire. Check the in-game countdown for both the current tier list and the timer on the reward in front of you.
What the Ladder Pays
Six tiers pay coins rather than items: 300, 500, 700, 1,000, 1,500 and 3,000, for 7,000 coins in all. That is the same balance the crate and the coin-priced abilities are bought with, so the pass is a straight discount on the first crate or ability you were saving for.
Five tiers pay eggs. The Alien Egg at tier 2 is the important one: hatching it at the lobby circle is the only route to the Black Widow fur, the one coat that never comes out of a normal crate — the furs list marks it. The Emote Egg rewards at tiers 4 and 8 hand out emotes, the third thing a crate can drop.
The Four Event-Only Items
The top of the ladder is where the event-only items sit: Grav Nade at 50 Candy (tier 11), Hollow Visor at 50 Candy (tier 13), Disintegrate at 30 Candy (tier 14) and Ray Gun at 40 Candy (tier 15). The event guides list them by name and Candy cost only — they do not say what each one does — so open the item in-game before you plan a loadout around it.
The Window, and What You Miss
Both event guides give the window as 17 October to 1 November 2026, and that is the window this page was read against on 23 October 2026. A third wiki lists different Halloween event windows around that period, so treat the in-game countdown as the live version rather than any published date.
What you lose by missing it: the 3,000-coin tier, all four event-only items, and the Alien Egg reward that leads to Black Widow. The ladder is the seasonal event's own reward track, so the window is the deadline for the whole thing, not just for the four items at the top.
