Cat Battles has 19 effects and you can equip exactly two at a time. You buy them with coins in the Effects tab of your lobby inventory, and every one is cosmetic — none of them changes how you fight. Five are free, the cheapest coin effect is Paw Prints at 200 coins, and the three Mythic effects only come in Robux bundles. Prices as read on 23 October 2026.

The list groups by the moment the effect fires: 4 win effects, 4 knockout effects, 3 kill effects, 2 hit effects, 5 footsteps and trail effects, and 1 Mythic finisher. Start from the moment you actually want to be seen in — the win effect plays when you are last cat standing, the knockout effect plays when you throw someone out.

You Can Equip Two Effects at a Time

Only two effects can be equipped at the same time, so the choice is a pair, not a single pick. The cheap way to fill both slots is the five free commons: one for the moment you want seen (a win or a knockout) and one for the trail you leave behind. Everything else costs coins on the same ladder as the sumo gear prices, and the furs you pull out of crates spend the same balance.

Effects Are Cosmetic Only

Every effect is a visual. None of them gives a hit, a speed boost, a longer reach or any other edge in a bout — the abilities list is where the combat upgrades live. Treat effects as something to spend spare coins on once you know what the coin-priced purchases in the crate guide actually cost you.
