The cat battles furs list covers 11 named coats, and every one of them is cosmetic: no fur gives a stat bonus, and a Galaxy cat hits exactly as hard as a default Ginger. They are the main thing coins and Robux are spent on after abilities.

Epic fur, not in the normal crate pool

Hatching an Alien Egg at the lobby circle during the Alien Invasion event

Ginger, Tuxedo and Calico are the everyday starter coats. Gold, Crystal, Rainbow, Galaxy and Glitch are the rarer fantasy-style looks, and Galaxy and Glitch are treated as the rarest of the set.

The One Fur You Cannot Get From a Crate

Black Widow is the exception. It is an Epic fur and it is not in the normal crate pool at all: it comes from hatching an Alien Egg at the circle in the lobby during the Alien Invasion event. Everything else on the list can turn up from a crate.

Where to Equip a Fur

You equip a fur from the Furs tab of your lobby inventory, next to the Abilities, Gear, Effects and Emotes tabs. Effects and trails are a separate cosmetic track from furs, and you can run two effects at once.

Getting Furs by Opening Crates

Crates are the slow, cheap route to the rarer looks, and premium Robux eggs and cats sold directly in the shop are the fast, expensive route to a specific one. How crates work and what they can drop covers both paths.
